Scope Of Work
The School of Dental Medicine is a historic building renovation requiring multiple phases over multiple floors while the building remains occupied. This two-part initiative involves the gut and retrofit over four floors updating the antiquated clinical, research, and administrative spaces. The scope involved new fire protection, code upgrades, window restoration, energy-efficient HVAC and heating equipment, switchgear replacements, and direct digital controls (DDC). The controls upgrade connects to the University’s new Iconics Gen64 Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system; the integration is certified by an Iconics representative. Additional upgrades included expansion of the clinical space, General Restorative Dentistry (GRD) and Sim labs, classroom spaces, library, and administrative space.
