For over 30 years Grand Banks has been serving both builders and homeowners in the greater north shore of Boston. It all started with a man and an idea back in 1988. Armed only with his knowledge of the products and a pickup truck, Lansing Banks began the journey from millwork to kitchen design. Today his son Ryan has grown a talented and passionate team, and our family business has grown.

We specialize in quality finish building products and design across a few categories: doors, windows, cabinetry, countertops, door hardware, stair parts, mouldings, decking, and flooring.

Our process plays a crucial role in our service and is what makes us unique. We use expert product information to consult with our customers in designing their space. If you have built or renovated a house, you have an idea how overwhelming the options are and how difficult it can be to find the right products.  In an industry full of options and unknowns GB can tell you exactly what your options are and help guide you in the right direction.  Together, we focus on getting the products right for our customers and ensuring the special touches that will help them call their house, Home.  

The first step of the process is the consultation. We always take the time to sit with our customers and discuss their project. We look beyond the blueprints and find out what intentions our customers have that can’t be expressed in angles and inches. Our dedicated and knowledgeable staff provide the resources, knowledge and know-how that can turn our customers ideas into rooms, and dreams into structures. After the consultation, our staff will come to your project and take field measurements so we can be sure of the exact dimensions and get a feel for the physical space our clients are transforming. From there we will make our final recommendations, provide a quote and discuss the best ways for our customers to move forward.
