Scope Of Work
Located in sunny Tampa, AdventHealth Carrollwood selected Robins & Morton to complete both an expansion and renovation to their facility. The three-year, $52 million project included a 62,800-square-foot, three-story horizontal addition and 40,810-square-foot renovation. Through this project, the team was able to make a variety of improvements to the surgical department, such as the addition of 10 new operating rooms, support spaces, and the renovations to the existing space.
This project was particularly complex in the way that it required relocation and adjustments of various site infrastructure including chillers, underground water retention vaults, main electric service, gas service, and water service. To effectively manage the simultaneous construction, infrastructure work and the tie into the existing facility, Robins & Morton implemented programs for detailed personnel management, quality control, scheduling and value analysis.
After completing this complex phased project on time and on schedule, Robins & Morton was asked to remain on campus to perform an emergency department renovation and expansion.
