Scope Of Work
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
A design-build project with many Green Building principals incorporated into the design, the new Kyle Library is located in the western part of Kyle’s historic downtown. It is a 20,000 SF limestone and brick single story building and mirrors the architectural brand of the new City Hall built by Raymond Construction 4 years ago. The new library features the following:
Design/Build Project
20,000 sf
Community rooms for meeting and gatherings
Special areas for teens
Kid’s areas
Computer areas
Outdoor plaza and Amphitheater seating on the steps
Coffee bar area
Self check-out of books and media area
Landscaping based on using native plants that require little water and low maintenance.
We are happy that the complete award-winning design and construction team is once again with the City of Kyle, working towards the construction of another true landmark for the City of Kyle. Construction is estimated to begin in October of this year.
