Scope Of Work
Completed for the Del Webb Corporation, the Lincoln Wastewater Treatment and Reclamation Facility (WWTRF) was a new $85 million facility built as a part of the City's comprehensive plan to maximize water reuse in the region. Located on a 41 acre site and abounded by two new residential areas, the plant's initial facility capacity rating was 3.3 million gallons of wastewater per day (mgd) with flexible expansion capability up to 25 to 30 mgd. More specifically, the project consisted of concrete reinforced structures, secondary clarifiers, oxidation ditches, influent and effluent structures, miscellaneous below-grade pump stations, ultra violet disinfection, and new sludge storage areas. In addition to the hydraulic structures, six architectural buildings consisting of steel frame, masonry walls with metal roofs and soffits were constructed for laboratory and support functions. Amosoro's contract included all underground piping, process piping, chemical piping, valves, pumps, and all required electrical work including ultra violet disinfection equipment and plant instrumentation.
