James R. Griffin, Inc.

David has been employed by James R. Griffin, Inc. since 1979 and is a Vice President and Director for our company. David possesses gifted carpenter skills and serves as the company general superintendent. He distinguished himself in the apprentice program, becoming a journeyman two years early. David soon became a carpenter foreman and superintendent, project manager and general superintendent. David has supervised and managed the construction of some of the highest profile projects that our company has conducted and has been responsible for their success.

Jim Griffin took over the leadership of the Company in 1963. The Company was started by his father and grandfather and has been in continuous operation since 1913.

Over the years Griffin has built a strong team of supervisors and craftsmen who are skilled, efficient, hard working, and who have kept pace the dynamic changes that have taken place in the construction industry. Jim is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and has served as an officer in the U.S. Navy.
He has participated in several industry and community activities and has served on the Board of Directors of the Construction Employers’ Association (CEA), the bargaining entity for Northern California Carpenters, the Ohlone College Foundation where he initiated the Business Leadership Council, and the Fremont Economic Development Advisory Commission (EDAC).

Randy has been employed by James R. Griffin, Inc. since 1990 and is President of our company. He is a graduate of UCLA with a BS degree in Civil Engineering. After learning skills of the trade in the field, Randy has supervised and managed projects for UC Berkeley, UCSF, LBNL, Mills College and the high technology industry. Randy is particularly skilled with understanding and coordinating the mechanical, electrical and controls requirements of projects. Randy is also the safety officer for James R. Griffin, Inc. and is a member of the CEA industry safety committee.

Steve has been employed by James R. Griffin, Inc. since 1983 and is vice President and director for our company.  In his position as a Senior Project Manager and Estimator, Steve is responsible for multiple projects and those that manage them.  His experience includes new construction and interior improvements for the technically advanced industries, universities, hospitals as well as commercial projects.  Steve is a proven leader and always maintains excellent relations with all members of project teams.  Steve is an active member of the Niles Rotary Club.

David has been employed by James R. Griffin, Inc. since 1981.  An accomplished Superintendent and Project Manage, David is now a Senior Project Manager and Estimator  responsible for the projects of repeat customers, which over the years have included Hewlett- Packard, Agilent Technology, Philips Lumileds, Avago, Varian Medical, to name a few, always meeting their demanding program requirements and schedules.

Tammi has been with our company since 2000 in the capacity of Controller responsible for all accounting systems and cost control. She also manages the administration of Subcontract Agreements, insurance and bonding issues. Her career in accounting spans over 19 years. Tammi supervises a staff of three and is a member of the Executive Committee.

Tammi is on the board of directors and is the Corporate Secretary.
