Jim Griffin took over the leadership of the Company in 1963. The Company was started by his father and grandfather and has been in continuous operation since 1913.
Over the years Griffin has built a strong team of supervisors and craftsmen who are skilled, efficient, hard working, and who have kept pace the dynamic changes that have taken place in the construction industry. Jim is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and has served as an officer in the U.S. Navy.
He has participated in several industry and community activities and has served on the Board of Directors of the Construction Employers’ Association (CEA), the bargaining entity for Northern California Carpenters, the Ohlone College Foundation where he initiated the Business Leadership Council, and the Fremont Economic Development Advisory Commission (EDAC).
