Scope Of Work
Every hour, 120,000 bottles of water are produced at Niagara Water’s new facility in Rialto, California. Bottled water is one of the most highly regulated manufactured products in the US – yet Niagara pushes industry innovation by running their operations at a strict, higher standard.
Niagara brought our team on board to manage the construction of the 55,742 m2 (600,000 ft2) water bottling production and distribution facility located in the Renaissance Rialto Development. Ledcor Design-Build completed all site work, building and office construction, and constructed the process fit up inside the building. All services were performed on a fast-tracked schedule.
The new, fully automated facility was constructed in two phases. Phase one involved extensive site development, and construction of the warehouse shell with specialized concrete tilt-up methods, administration office areas, and the guard house building. Phase two included the installation and management of the interior production equipment, and the required process support systems, including electrical infrastructure, a large injection blow molding component, and an aseptic filling process.
