Taylor Kohrs

As an industry veteran, Scott brings decades of knowledge and experience to the Operations and Management of Taylor Kohrs.  He is a graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in Construction Management and Business Administration. Scott is highly experienced in the many facets of construction and running successful business.  As a Taylor Kohrs Executive, Scott brings collaboration and seamless transition from Business Development and Preconstruction, to Construction implementation.  He is a servant leader who prides himself on building a strong culture and working with the teams to fulfill a successful construction experience. 

Taylor Kohrs President Scott Kohrs is a life-long member of the firm with over 30 years of experience, having worked as an estimator directly out of college and moving his way up to ownership in 2005. From a most memorable project in which he turned a simple office door replacement job into a $14 million dollar project, Scott has been an all-in, hands-on Taylor Kohrs team member as well as leader. Over the years, he has managed to retain his approachable, collaborative work style while leading Taylor Kohrs to become one of the most respected and trusted general contractors and construction managers in the state.

Brittny has over 10 years of experience in  marketing across various industries. She applies her expertise in marketing, brand management, graphic design and customer service to help provide engaging communications for developing business opportunities and nurturing ongoing client relationships.

Leah is a real number cruncher. Her diverse background in accounting and estimating has led her to work on projects ranging from $200k to $130M. There isn’t a project Leah can’t help our clients put an honest number to. Clients, contracting officers, and subcontractors love working with her can do attitude and attention to project details.

David draws on a multitude of experience as a Project Manager and Superintendent when managing a project for Taylor Kohrs. His varied experience in affordable housing, commercial and healthcare construction is a real asset for any owner. David has a proven ability to trouble shoot, problem solve, manage project timetables and budgets from the preliminary design through contract close-out. His commitment to his team not only builds strong relationships but maximizes efforts put forth on his projects.

Jake graduated with his Bachelors Degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University. He does everything from quantity take-offs, scope subcontractor bids, process submittals, RFI’s,  ASI’s, change order requests, site walks and attending OAC meetings for multi-million dollar projects.

Jonie holds a Certification in Construction Management from Colorado State University and uses her knowledge to coordinate operational functions between owners, architects, project managers, and superintendents to ensure a successful project experience from inception to completion all while putting a smile on your face with her silly antics.

Scott is a dedicated project manager using his knowledge, experience, scheduling and communications skills to deliver superb projects for our clients. Over his career he has managed concurrent technically difficult projects for the Federal Government and U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, receiving outstanding performance evaluations.  He is an excellent team player who takes on any position necessary to get the job done.

TJ started with Taylor Kohrs as an intern while receiving a B.S. in Construction Management from Colorado State University. He is a dedicated and hard worker who has quickly advanced from Project Engineer to Project Manager. He uses his knowledge of the latest technologies and best practices to manage project activities and ensure that budgets are in line and schedules are as efficient as possible.

A construction executive with 33 years of industry experience, Brian brings to Taylor Kohrs a proven ability to establish strong client relationships along with an extensive background in construction management. His dedication to teamwork and attention to detail make Brian a leader in strategic planning, connecting with clients, building sustainable partnerships and meeting client objectives.

Dene has 24 years of experience in accounting, 19 of those with Taylor Kohrs. She has an Associate’s degree in Business from Front Range Community College and she uses her expertise and business acumen to do the daily math that keeps finances running smoothly for Taylor Kohrs and our clients.

A 20-year veteran of Taylor Kohrs, Kelly manages our Accounting department with skill and efficiency to ensure that the numbers make sense for Taylor Kohrs, our subcontractors and our clients. In addition to her commitment to Taylor Kohrs, Kelly finds time to volunteer for community events like the annual local health fair.
