Scope Of Work
ACGNA provided design-build and general contracting services to The Hospital of St. Raphael for over a decade. ACGNA was responsible for the construction of new surgical intensive care, cardiac catheterization, and other specialty units at the hospital, along with numerous facility improvement projects. ACGNA constructed the Verdi Connector which tied two existing buildings together creating new modern medical space on the hospital campus. ACGNA’s work at St. Raphael includes:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
Surgical Intensive Care Unit
Verdi Connector Building (I and II)
Stereotaxis Procedure Room
Electro Convulsive Therapy Room
Special Radiology Procedure Room
Operating Room Zero
Loading Dock Renovation
SURGICAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT
The SICU project involved the modernization of existing patient care space in order to improve efficiency, provide larger patient rooms, and increase supplemental care and support services. This fast-track project was meticulously planned to minimize staff and patient disruptions. Construction was completed with no change orders or punch list. The project included:
10,000SF 15-bed unit
Individual computerized charting stations with visual access
Custom headwalls with built-in dialysis port
Card swipe security system
Centralized nurses call system
Soil linen room, clean linen room, and isolation room
Staff support areas including conference rooms, nurses lounge, locker rooms
