Scope Of Work
The 12th largest furniture chain in the US, this CT-based company currently has 89 stores across 15 states. Carlin Construction performed as construction manager for this fast-track fit-out of an existing 4th-floor Manhattan facility in the East River Plaza — located at 117th Street along FDR Drive. Work performed included:
New storefront windows and entrance systems
Construction of thermal shell walls, demising walls and display walls
High-end finishes including specialty graphics for branding, porcelain tile, vinyl plank flooring and custom casework throughout
A new package of rooftop HVAC systems, restrooms, electrical, CCTV, voice and data, as well as an extensive lighting package
