R-PCI Construction has completed multiple Medical Lab build-outs for a number of clients, including this highly specialized “Cold Lab” for the local R&D facility of international pharmaceutical giant, Lonza. The work included the relocation of medical gas pods, installation of a cold room along with the sensitive instrumentation, and the expansion of the working lab space. All work was completed in phases in order for the existing lab to remain operational. As is typical in construction projects of this type, cleanliness and an active infectious control plan are major factors throughout the course of the project … attention to detail and adherence to the plan allowed this project to be turned over with no issues and the expansion project was deemed a success by all parties.
