Scope Of Work
Liberty Park Commerce Center Building #3 is the new home to Amazon's DGR3 delivery station with more than 90 truck docks for smooth and fast delivery of convenient products to homes and businesses in and around Sterling Heights, Michigan.
The brownfield site was most recently home to a golf and softball sports complex, but prior to the sports complex, the land was an unregulated landfill. The Oliver / Hatcher team tested the soil to find arsenic, cadmium, and lead. The team contained the on-site environmental issues created from the landfill prior to construction.
The building was constructed quickly using pre-engineered concrete walls. The interior of the 569,000 SF building contains a mixture of warehouse, assembly, and office space.
