Scope Of Work
Oliver / Hatcher's renovation experts have the knowledge needed for specialty R&D spaces. Our team was contracted to expand and renovate the Nissan North American Technical Center.
The renovation included a 6,800 SF expansion to the existing research and development facility, for the creation of a new anechoic chamber. The construction of the new isolated Anechoic Chamber included a vibration-dampening concrete floor, sound attenuating mechanical systems and 11’ tall STC rated double doors. Additional scope included providing monoxide gas and moisture indicators connected to the central systems and coordinating the installation of the owner furnished anechoic cones, crane, hoist, CCTV system, and sound curtains. Extensions and connections to existing Nissan services and supplies were accomplished during off-hours to minimize interruption.
