Kokolakis Contracting

Bill joined Kokolakis Contracting in 1994. Throughout his career he has served as Superintendent, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Director of Preconstruction, and Vice President. Bill was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2018 and now manages construction operations for the company. Bill earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida and is a State of Florida Certified General Contractor

As a graduate of Emory University School of Law, Joe first joined the firm as General Counsel in 1989. Since 1998, he has served as its President and sole shareholder. As a LEED Accredited Professional, Mr. Kokolakis has spearheaded his company’s commitment to environmentally conscious design and construction. He is a licensed General, Building, Roofing and Plumbing contractor. Joe’s proactive and hands-on approach has helped define Kokolakis Contracting as a respected company and dedicated community partner.

Roderick has been with the company since 1996 and has served as a Project Manager, Estimator, Senior Project Manager, Purchasing Agent, and Vice President. Roderick was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2018 and oversees the Corporate operations that includes marketing and business development. Roderick holds a Civil Engineering Technology Degree from Farmingdale State College as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida.

Tom joined Kokolakis Contracting in 2016 as Director of Operations for the New York Office. Tom was promoted to Vice President in 2018 and now manages the day-to-day operations of the New York Office, including budget development and management, schedule development and management, contract negotiations, management of subcontract agreements, safety, quality control, and customer satisfaction throughout the life of the construction contract.  Tom holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Wesleyan University.

Andrew has over 15 years of construction estimating and management experience both in the public and private sectors. Andrew is directly responsible for all major competitively bid construction projects to include subcontractor outreach, competitive bid solicitation, bid-day MBE compliance, and detailed estimating. Andrew is a graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology and is an active member of the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE).

Jenny joined the company in 2017 with over 15 years of construction management and design-build expertise both in the public and private sectors. Jenny manages the Preconstruction Department which includes preparing bid proposals, as well as preconstruction services for all phases of construction management and design-build projects. Jenny is a graduate of St. Petersburg College Construction Technology program through the University Partnership Center. She is a former chapter president and active member of the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) and a 2017 graduate of ABC’s NEXGEN Leadership Program.

Jake has been with the company since 2001 an started off as a field engineer while attending college. Throughout his tenure at Kokolakis, Jake has held various project management positions over the years and was promoted to Project Executive in 2018. He now provides leadership and oversight for construction projects focusing on schedule, budget and safety compliance.  Jake holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering from Florida A&M University.

Michael has over 20 years of construction experience and has been with Kokolakis since 2005. During his tenure, he has served as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, and Senior Project Manager. Michael was promoted to Project Executive in 2018 and now provides leadership and oversight for construction projects for focusing schedule, budget and safety compliance. Michael holds a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from New York Institution of Technology

Andria began her career at Kokolakis in 2007 and is responsible for the marketing, branding, proposal preparation and assists with business development efforts of the firm.  She also handles the social media platforms, website management, and coordinates the firm’s outreach efforts. Andria is an active member of Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Tampa Bay Chapter and currently serves on the board as Programs Coordinator.

Machell joined Kokolakis Contracting in 1995 serving as Contracts Administrator, Office Administration and Proposal Management before moving into the role of Corporate Controller in 2009 with a promotion to Corporate Treasurer in 2016. As the Corporate Secretary / Treasurer, Machell is responsible for cash management and forecasting, corporate liquidity, maintenance of banking and surety relationships, review of corporate investments, oversight of its’ 401k plan, and the company’s compliance efforts with respect to legislative and regulatory requirements, risk management and legal support.  She also oversees the property management of the related development entities.

Stephanie joined the Kokolakis team in 2013 bringing over 20 years of experience in the construction industry with a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Southern Illinois University. As the Corporate Controller, Stephanie is responsible for managing reporting systems and establishing financial policies and procedures.  She drives the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks. She also oversees human resources/payroll, IT, and subcontract administration.

Allison joined Kokolakis in 2019 with over 5 years of human resources experience. She is responsible for strategic human resource planning, performance management, recruiting, federal and state law compliance, employee wellness, corporate health care plans, training, and benefits management. Allison attended the University of Cincinnati and holds her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and Suncoast HR (local SHRM chapter).

Michael Burton joined Kokolakis Contracting in 2001 and has over 30 years of construction experience.  He was promoted to General Superintendent. Michael also oversees field quality control, schedule compliance, budget compliance and collaboratively works with all stake holders to resolve jobsite issues.  Michael also implements and oversees project safety and risk programs. Michael earned his Building Construction Degree from Hammersmith and West London College.
