This $21.5 million project widened Little Rock Road, improving the connection to Wilkinson Boulevard
This $21.5 million project widened Little Rock Road, improving the connection to Wilkinson Boulevard. The most challenging part was working in/around existing airport traffic, and ensuring as minimal of an impact as possible on traffic flow. This was especially difficult during heavy airport traffic periods through the holidays.
Project Highlights
Project totaled 3 bridges, including a bridge over the Norfolk Southern Railroad.
Widening of existing roadway and construction of new alignment.
360,000 yds of embankment
2 box culverts
Existing bridge deck modifications
7,806 lf of RCP
Erosion control, water, sewer, asphalt paving, curb & gutter, overhead signage, and electrical work.
