S.C. Hondros & Assocs., Inc.

Founded in 1970 by Spiro C. Hondros as a design/build and general contracting firm, S.C. Hondros & Associates, Inc. is one of the leading general contractors in the Charlotte region.  While once known primarily for its expertise in the design and construction of warehouse and distribution facilities – building over 10 million square feet of space for Trammell Crow, Childress Klein  and others – the company now boasts a balanced and diverse portfolio that includes office condos, retail, religious institutions, sports and recreation facilities, and flex and distribution facilities.

In 2007 the company’s ownership transferred to a group of Senior Associates and is led by president Sam Kleto, a position he has held since 2002.  The staff includes an in-house design department, with registered Civil Engineer, allowing S.C. Hondros & Associates, Inc. to provide a single-source of responsibility on every aspect of a project, from concept to completion.
