Scope Of Work
When the sanctuary and original classroom spaces at St. Peter Parish were constructed in 2005, the long-term plan was to allow for an addition which would include a parish hall, as well as additional bathrooms and smaller meeting rooms. Gardner/Fox was hired in a true Design/Build capacity in the spring of 2016. Gardner/Fox began designing this Parish Hall addition, and fast-tracked the construction, which was completed in 2017. The approximately 14,000 square foot addition includes two meeting rooms, a commercial kitchen and cafe space, as well as a large gathering hall with a folding partition wall for more intimate gatherings. The resulting exterior courtyard and bell tower provide additional useable space for children’s play equipment and outdoor activities. Overall, the addition enables the parishioners of St. Peter’s Church to gather as a community outside of the sanctuary, allowing for new experiences and continued growth.
