Scope Of Work
Harper completed the construction of a 9,400 SF medical office building for The Anderson Skin and Cancer Clinic. The building includes waiting areas, a laboratory, eight exam rooms, three procedure rooms, office space, meeting space, and a large break area. The project team used careful budget management and close coordination with all involved to deliver the project on time and under budget.
The Anderson Skin and Cancer Clinic is a 9,400 SF business class medical office building located in Anderson, South Carolina. The project includes waiting areas, a laboratory, eight exam rooms, three procedure rooms, office space, meeting space, and a large break area.
The project was constructed in seven months, delivering the project on time and under budget. Careful budget management provided the opportunity to add back in some components that were previously removed from the design. Close coordination was required in order to deliver the project in a way that worked with the client’s phased move-in schedule, minimizing down time. Specific challenges included maintaining the schedule despite higher than normal rain fall amounts prior to building dry-in, as well as adapting to requested changes (adding a back-up generator for critical lab equipment) near the project completion.
