Scope Of Work
Harper performed a rigorous pre-design survey of the existing building, working closely with the hotel and architect to determine the best methods for HVAC and electrical system installation that included the location of the equipment routing of ductwork and conduit. Harper located a number of special craft subcontractors to perform plaster, marble, and ornamental metal refurbishing.
Historical preservation methods included flexible and space-saving installation of air-cooled reciprocating water chillers and controllers. Additionally, Harper performed construction with historical preservationist involvement to secure historical approval from the State Archives office.
