“The eyes of Texas are upon you..” Many of Jenkins’ clients are Texas Exes (or graduates from the University of Texas at Austin). Several come to the Jenkins design team, hoping to build their vacation or weekend homes in Austin. After having lived in Austin for several years during college, they often come back wanting to have a place to stay in town. For them, waterfront property is the best of Austin living, as well as a great investment.

This Santa-Barbara style custom home serves as a second home for a doctor and his wife. Being central to all of their children and grandchildren, it has quickly become a family meeting place for holidays, weekends, and just because… The home’s design, produced in-house by the Jenkins architecture team, was the vision of the owners and is a beautiful reflection of their taste and worldwide travel. Several purchases they had made during their travels tastefully accent the home throughout. The doors to the wine room and the Great Room are one example of their collection, a purchase they made during their travels in China. Many other decorative items were custom-fit to the home, making it personalized and artful, a taste of their life together all in one beautiful home.
