Scope Of Work

The owners of this beautiful piece of property chose Jenkins Design Build, a Horseshoe Bay Custom Builder, to build their dream home. Named “Bella Cortile”, this project started on a lovely home site in Escondido. The beautiful courtyard style evolved as a means to provide privacy, natural light, and comfortable outdoor living spaces.  The design team conducted many studies that revealed how architecture can influence the health and well-being of the inhabitants. Given this, the team decided that one of the goals of this home would be to invite the outdoors into the spaces of the home, blurring the lines between the two.

Although Bella Cortile is over 5,000 square feet of upscale style, it is also heavy on casual comfort and functionality–a delicate balance between the two. The large windows, strategically placed, provide an abundance of natural light to the home. These windows capitalize on the lovely creek view in the back of the property. Located in arguably one of the nicest neighborhoods in the area, the home feels comfortably remote, offering a quiet countryside feel. The downstairs study, master suite, and guest bedroom provide plenty of respite and easy access to the main living areas. The upstairs game room and additional secondary bedrooms (2) add more space for extra guests.
