Scope Of Work
This exclusive waterfront home was purchased years ago by a real estate agent. His intent was to use it as a vacation property for the family’s personal enjoyment. After an extensive redesign and remodel by the Jenkins team, it was transformed into this Tuscan style beauty.
Sitting right on the edge of Lake LBJ, the house offers the family several lake activities and the peace of living on the water. According to the client, waking up to this scene makes every day a good one. Mornings are tranquil as the sun shines off of the water and the wind blows through the trees.
Incorporating the old with the new posed a challenge to this project. The design team also had to engineer a home with significant storm damage. The client wanted the home to be ageless and storm-proof since wind and rain are common at Lake Travis.
After the project was complete, the home appraised much higher than anticipated–an added bonus to the agent and his family.
