Scope Of Work

The combination of Lake Travis views, luxury living, and plenty of entertainment space made this beautiful custom home a dream come true for this young surgeon. Long hours spent at the hospital make it a true retreat to come home to. The topography of this lot left the Jenkins Design Team with yet another puzzle, but creativity blossomed and the house was perfectly engineered into the lake hillside. 

Almost every room in the house boasts of stunning views of Lake Travis and the marina across the channel. In order to truly feel at home in Texas, the combination of materials reflects natural Texas elements. This makes the space inside both warm and inviting. The dark wood works well in combination with the lighter wood floors. Wood-look ceramic tile in the master shower also speaks of its Texas location, and the stone used as the face of the main wall in the living room brings guests back to the river beds of Texas. 

The downstairs entertaining room has a wall of sliding doors that slide completely into the wall. These connect the indoor space to the outdoor living area and swimming pool, which artfully sits below the upstairs walkway. This home is the perfect escape of tranquility and scenic views for the hard-working surgeon and his guests.
