Scope Of Work

This beautiful Lake Travis waterfront home was built on a lot with a pre-existing tear-down home. The new owner, a tech company executive, lived in multiple cities throughout his career. His plan was to come to Austin to find a perfect lake home for his family. Since he didn’t find the perfect home for sale, he decided to commission Jenkins to design and build it. 

The main emphasis was clean, simple, and stress-free living that reflected Texas throughout the home. Jenkins design team accomplished this with the use of natural stone, slate, granite, and travertine. The large windows capture the picturesque lake view from all of the major rooms, bringing home that rustic Texas feel. 

The waterfront home is so appealing that, shortly after the home it was finished, the family got a knock on the door and an offer to purchase it.  Although the home was never for sale, they decided to sell it and commission Jenkins to build them a new one.
