Scope Of Work
This was a fast Track Design/Build project awarded under the Commonwealth of Virginia Public Private Education Facilities & Infrastructure Act (PPEA). The existing treatment plant was nearly 30 years old and quickly reaching its capacity. The Design-Build team identified three primary goals early in the process: permitting, scheduling, and providing a state-of-the-art, operator-friendly facility. MEB and Timmons Group completed this project in less than 2 years to replace aging infrastructure and to meet DEQ requirements. The project was completed 3 months ahead of schedule.
