Scope Of Work
Yates Construction provided construction services for the new University of Mississippi School of Law. This 165,000 SF facility is located on a 22.5 acre site and features a three story classroom building, parking for 500 vehicles, and a service yard with loading docks. The facility is composed of a three-story central block and a two-story wing on each side. In addition to classrooms and faculty offices, this facility consists of a café, dining rooms, a seminar room, a law clinic, student lounges, and a law library. The project also included the demolition of eighteen apartment buildings, relocation of site utilities, and rerouting of drainage. This project is pursuing LEED® Gold Certification.
