Scope Of Work

The building includes sustainable features such as integrated daylighting strategies in the classrooms and occupancy sensors to optimize the efficiency of the building’s energy systems. The 2-story main entry includes strong architectural features that  as the focal point to the facility. Daylighting is optimized  all of the facility’s spaces.

Hall-Irwin’s design-build approach on this 48,210 SF school was the perfect solution for the Imagine Charter School’s needs. Although the project started 1-1/2 months late in the beginning of winter due to the development process, Hall-Irwin crunched a 10-month schedule down to 8-1/2 months by fast-tracking the schedule and working on weekends. The Owner was thrilled about the design-build process in terms of how we were able to give the Owner a high–quality building at a very low cost that was within his budget. By listening to the Owner and understanding their desires we are able to meet/exceed their needs and expectations.

Due to our success building Imagine Charter School’s first school in Firestone, they hired Hall-Irwin’s design-build team to complete a similar facility in Colorado Springs. Currently, with 2 schools successfully completed, our design-build team created a design that can be easily reproduced on several different lot layouts as needed.
