Scope Of Work
Milliken needed a community athletic center, and the Thompson River Parks and Recreation District set out with Hall-Irwin to provide it. Originally, their design called for several expensive elements which would have put them over budget. Working with the architects and engineers, our team was able to provide them with near-equivalent features that were much more cost-effective. This 22,000 SF complex was constructed using pre-engineered metal. This project was contracted under Guaranteed Maximum Price.
The main features of this athletic complex are two full-sized outdoor soccer fields, a t-ball field, and two full-sized indoor basketball courts. The building also houses seven administrative offices, a weight room, community room, a concession/kitchen that can both the indoor and outdoor events, along with a classroom and computer lab for the Boys and Girls Club. The community was immediately pleased with their new facility.
