Scope Of Work
A 140 Acre former Manufacturing Site and Landfill adjacent to the Deleware River required Environmental Capping.
Investigations indicated soil and groundwater have been impacted with Heavy Metals.
Edgeboro was contracted to perform the following tasks, including but not limited to:
- Clearing and Grubbing areas within Scope of Work
- Survey of Existing Conditions, and Various Stages of Progress
- Creating and Maintaining Access Roadways while avoiding Protected Wetland areas for Access
- Excavation and Relocation of Materials in Capping Areas
- Disposal of unsuitable Material and Importing Clay, DGA,Topsoil Materials
- Placement and Grading of Capping Materials (24" Cap) within Time Sensitive Tidal Windows
- Compaction Testing of Layers and Material Lifts to conform with specifications
- Decommissioning of Existing Monitoring Wells
- Site Restoration
Keep in mind, this Bonded project included a Construction Work Plan, Site Specific Health and Safety Plan (HASP), Management Plan, Testing Reports, Survey As-Builts,
Storm Water Management Plan (SWMP), Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Plan, Soils and Waste Material, and Temporarty Excavation Support System Plan
