Notable Facts
As a hospital project, the regulating body (OSHPD) had very demanding quality requirements. The project required significant underground work below the existing hospital. The work areas were tightly enclosed and difficult to access. To further compound the challenge the project was designed for the beams to connect at non-90-degree angles. Kwan Wo carefully coordinated these special requirements in shop drawings, fabrication, and installation process to help deliver a quality hospital building.

The project involved the renovation and construction of an old hospital building. Kwan Wo provided the structural steel, metal stairs, and miscellaneous metals for the project.
