Jay Eastland's Bio
Originally from Atlanta, Jay Eastland is, alongside Luis Cuevas, a founding partner of Engineered Solutions of Georgia. In addition to his many years of experience in foundation repair, Jay holds a variety of industry-related certifications and memberships, including:
- Certified Fortress Stabilization Installer
- Certified McLean Dixie Pier Installer
- Member of the National Concrete Association
- Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers
Each day at ESOG, Jay reviews provides problem solving for all areas of the business. His company strives to educate each customer and assist them in making the correct decisions when seeking to repair their home. His advice to prospective clients: make sure any contractor you are considering for any type of job can effectively explain the entire process to you.
To Jay, there are two rewarding aspects to his job. One is providing customers with the right foundation repair solution – not simply selling a product. The other is seeing his employees grow within the company. Jay encourages his team to provide top-notch customer service to every client’s when foundation repair project.
When Jay is not managing day-to-day operations at ESOG, he enjoys spending time with family and on hobbies such as riding his mountain bike at the lake.
Luis Cuevas's Bio
Although he originally hails from Mexico, Luis Cuevas has been an Atlantan for the past 30 years. In 2006, Luis teamed up with Jay Eastland to found ESOG. Luis now has nearly two decades of experience in the foundation industry, is a member of the American Society of Engineers and also holds a wide variety of industry-related certifications. These include:
- Certified McLean Dixie Helical Foundation and Underpinning Systems Specialist
- Certified Fortress Wall Stabilization Specialist
- DeNeef Chemical Grouts and Waterstops Certification
Day to day, Luis manages installation projects with the ESOG crews, ensuring that they have everything they need to complete a job. After each job, Luis follows up with clients to receive feedback on their work and address any outstanding questions or issues. Besides meeting with clients and crews, Luis is responsible for ESOG’s quality control initiatives. His attention to detail means that on every project, in attention to excellent repair work, Luis ensures that his crew treats the client’s home with respect, leaving the work area cleaner than they found it.
His favorite aspect of his job is helping ESOG’s clients eliminate their foundation issues. His advice to prospective clients: address any type of foundation problem in your home sooner rather than later, to avoid additional stress and project costs.
When Luis is not working hard to help his clients with foundation repairs, he enjoys spending time with his family and on hobbies including drawing and the shooting sports.

Chuck Irby's Bio
Chuck has worked in the foundation repair industry since 1987, starting out as crew member and ultimately owning his own company, Extreme Technologies. Over his career Chuck has worked on literally thousands of projects. Now, with nearly three decades of experience and a host of professional certifications, Chuck spends his time providing estimates for all the commercial, municipal, and industrial projects that need cost effective solutions. Many ESOG clients will meet with Chuck prior to the start of a project, as he is responsible for planning projects and working with crew members to implement them. A personal specialty of his is dam repair, dealing with structural issues related to lakes and ponds.
Chuck’s advice to prospective clients: “Take the time to study your problem and educate yourself on the proper repair procedures prior to making a decision. Also remember, price is not everything. You usually get what you pay for.”
Chuck is a huge Braves, Falcons and Dawgs fan; but with three boys, in his spare time he can be found coaching youth football and baseball, camping just enjoying time at the lake.
joe loudermilk's Bio
Joseph D. Loudermilk has developed a new role at Engineered Solutions of Georgia as V.P. of Business Development and is implementing new ways to get new and old customers to consider us as a partner in their businesses.
Joe has been in the ground modification, foundation support business since 1992 and has helped develop the commercial division here at ESOG in multiple positions. Some of his better achievements is in a new industry for us which is in the oil and gas industry. He’s personally sold multi-million-dollar deep foundation systems for multiple projects all over the south east. In this process he also managed the production and quality of these projects. His last notable project before being promoted to this new position was a 6 month long sinkhole remediation project that allowed him to prove that with a great work ethic and great personality that businesses will listen and make informed decisions and choose us as a partner.
When he’s not at work you will have a difficult time finding him. With all his kids finally grown and providing him with grandkids he finally gets to do what he loves and that is travel. He may be on a beach at 0 mph or on a racetrack at 200 mph, he keeps a very busy schedule.
