Scope Of Work
Major Items: Fine Grading – 1,500 SY; Soil Stabilization Installation – 6,000 SY; Concrete Curbs & Pads; Asphalt Pavement – 1,300 Tons
Highlights:
Crisdel Group installed a soil stabilizer for Ellis Island employee and US Park Police parking lots to eliminate dust and strengthen the subgrade. A milling machine was used to till the existing parking lot subgrade to ensure that the soil stabilizer would properly mix into the subgrade . A water truck was then used to evenly spray the soil stabilizer throughout the , which was then graded compacted to cure. Crisdel Group its subcontractor worked together to install 975 LF concrete curb 2,200 SF various concrete pads. Crisdel Group Kiewit worked together to improve drainage within the parking lot by improving grade elevations ensuring proper slope was met at all . 1,300 tons asphalt was placed 2 shifts to avoid upcoming winter weather to minimize impact on Ellis Island employees and US Park Police.
