Our Story

Lawrence-Lynch Corp. is a family owned company doing business for almost 50 years.  This fifth generation construction family was originated in the 1880’s by their great-great grandfather, Daniel Grady. Daniel was an Irish immigrant who started his business paving the streets of Providence, Rhode Island with cobblestone. James H. Lynch married Grady’s daughter in 1910, founding the J.H. Lynch Company. The current Falmouth operation was founded with the purchase of the Frederick Lawrence Company in 1971 by Gerald Lynch. Today Lawrence-Lynch Corp. (a Massachusetts Corporation) and its wholly owned subsidiaries are owned by Christopher Lynch. Gerald Lynch maintains ownership of Lawrence-Lynch Materials Corp. and its wholly owned subsidiary.

Today, our team of approximately 100 employees supports our ability to excel in the many sectors of the civil construction industry. From all aspects of utility construction to hot mix asphalt manufacturing, our customers appreciate the value they receive from working with a company with such a diverse set of skills and accomplishments.
