Our Story
International Geotechnical/Structural Laboratories also performs testing of concrete in both the laboratory and the field. The laboratory is licensed by the Department of Buildings of the City of New York and gets inspected periodically by the engineers from Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory and Technology, National Institute of Standards and Technology, for conformance to the national testing standards. We follow the testing procedures described in the ASTM Standards.
In the laboratory, we test concrete cylinders for compressive strength. We also prepare design mixes to achieve a desired strength.
In the field, we perform slump and volume tests.
