Scope Of Work
One Haskris Heat Exchanger with fume hood is challenging enough to install given the fume hood is 8-feet long and equipped with compressed air, nitrogen, remote control gas, vac, chilled water supply and return, three flammable storage cabinets, and three acid storage base units. But when you have to install two of them, adjacent to occupied labs with ongoing research, it becomes doubly difficult and something only a seasoned construction crew should handle.
That’s why Boston College chose Wise to renovate its two chem lab suites. New epoxy floors and new Kewaunee casework, laboratory benches, and upgraded and expanded MEP systems were also installed. We also created new office space using a sliding door system, casework and glazing. And everything was completed while maintaining good air quality and minimizing noise, dust and vibrations.
