Scope Of Work
This three-phased renovation involved combining multiple existing laboratories into one, single contiguous lab space. Through this consolidation, the goal was to create a large shared space for multiple research groups and to house new instruments and equipment. The research conducted in this space is directed at the discovery, processing, and characterization of materials to meet today’s energy challenges such as photovoltaics, batteries, fuel cells, and efficiency and conservation of energy sources. In addition, versatility and flexibility of the lab arrangement and layout accomodates the constantly changing requirements and types of research conducted in the future.
