Scope Of Work
Contracted by the City of Rutland to rebuild the aging Rotary Field presented several unique challenges. Poor drainage had created a very wet field which made the installation of under drain challenging, but also extremely important. Using a state of the art GPS layout system that integrated into the bulldozer we were able to achieve the necessary cuts and fills that would enable to field to drain properly and quickly. The project also involved using the reclaimed topsoil off the field that was screened onsite and reused. Scheduled to be in use in the fall of 2016, the Rotary Field improvements will provide the Rutland Recreation Department with another facility that will be used by several different programs.
