Scope Of Work

Tehachapi Valley Hospital is a general acute care hospital located on a 20 acre campus in a rural section of the Tehachapi Mountains. This new 25 bed state-of-the-art “green field” critical access hospital consists of a main building with 3 patient bed wings and a central power plant building. The scope of work encompassed steel frame, exterior curtain wall and plaster walls with stone accents, metal roof deck, insulating lightweight concrete, single ply roofing, and concrete masonry unit walls with split-face plaster finishes. Canopies and equipment screens were included. The site contains a simple helicopter medical evacuation helipad.

Tehachapi Valley Hospital offers acute care and outpatient services and also operates rural clinics in Tehachapi and Mojave, CA. Departments include: Emergency Service, Surgical Service, Clinical Laboratory Service, Obstetrical facilities (LDR and postpartum), Medical/Surgical Patient Unit, Intensive Care Unit, Dietetic Service, Central Supply, General Storage, and Pharmaceutical Services.
