Scope Of Work
Jefferson Elementary is a 59,800 sf replacement school in the character of a traditional school building fitting into the fabric of an established neighborhood with homes dating from the 1920’s through the 1960’s. Classrooms surround a courtyard on axis with the centrally located Library and Gymnasium. The configuration highlights the importance of the relationship between academic and physical education and the influence that both have on children’s lives.
