Scope Of Work
The Greenwood College School project is a 5016 m2 (54,000 sq. ft.) expansion that includes a learning commons for quiet independent study, a new performing arts theatre, a gymnasium with retractable seating, a green roof with outdoor classroom and terrace, three modern and fully-equipped science labs, a digital media area, new music and visual arts studios and new fitness room. With flexibility at the forefront of the design, rooms can be reconfigured to accommodate personalized learning. As the expansion ties into an existing building, construction has to be carefully planned and executed in order to minimize distruptions to students and teachers. The expansion will be LEED Gold certified.
