Scope Of Work
Revelstoke School project involved the demolition and construction of two new schools on one site through a design-build approach.
Begbie View Elementary School has a capacity for 250 students and 80 kindergarten students. The school includes classrooms, special education and multipurpose space, a library, and a gymnasium. Attached to the elementary school is a Neighbourhood Learning Centre, which provides an early learning hub, an acrobatic centre, and medical amenities.
Revelstoke Secondary School was built to house 500 students. The building features a 275 seat theater, oversized gymnasium, fully equipped library, computer labs, woodwork and automotive shops, art room, drama facility, cafeteria, music room, science labs, home economics area, general student services spaces and classrooms. Also attached to the secondary school is a Neighbourhood Learning Centre that includes a community theatre and a health service facility for at-risk-youth.
