Andy Trewick's Bio

Andy is an internationally experienced civil engineer with 30 years of experience in project management and the management of contracting businesses over three continents. He has a proven track record in overseeing the delivery of projects to time, quality and budget for key strategic clients under a variety of forms of contract and delivery models. He has been the catalyst behind major infrastructure business expansions, restructurings, acquisitions, and integrations. Since joining Graham in 2015, he has enhanced our Infrastructure procurement and work winning approaches while successfully building the Operational leadership team structure. He was promoted to COO in 2019, then quickly ascended to his current role as CEO. Andy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with a concentration in Civil Engineering from Aston University in Birmingham, England.

Cecil began his career with Graham over 22 years ago. Throughout his tenure he has held progressively increasing roles, beginning as a Civil Engineer and then advancing to the management of large capital projects, until his most recent position as Vice President of Graham’s Energy and Environment stream. Cecil holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and has completed executive training from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Cecil’s influential leadership and market expertise contribute to the growth and diversification the Industrial and Infrastructure West divisions. Cecil also provides leadership to Graham's Indigenous Relations corporate service, aimed at developing processes and procedures for engaging with our Indigenous partners.

Executive Vice President, Buildings, since October 2017, Colin brings over 35 years of experience in the construction industry. Colin’s career began as a surveyor and site engineer on municipal and land development projects for a consultant engineering firm. A strong interest in the construction of large-scale building projects drew him to this aspect of the industry upon completion of his engineering degree. Colin spent the first 15 years after graduation in various project roles including Field Supervision, Project Management and Estimating on numerous retail, hospitality, office, multi-family, and institutional projects across Canada. Over the last 15 years, Colin has progressed through the various levels of Operations Management and has been responsible for the successful delivery of approximately $600 million of construction services annually in Alberta, British Columbia and select areas of the United States.

Ian has over 23 years of experience with large scale and highly technical projects. He specializes in multi-faceted water treatment, biosolids, and environmental projects, including all aspects of project start-up and delivery: bid directing, negotiation, design, construction execution, commissioning and operations and maintenance. Ian has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Leeds. In his former role as Vice President, Preconstruction Services, Ian used his technical experience to successfully manage stringent delivery schedules and a complex range of internal and external stakeholders, leading to the successful delivery of many significant projects.

Tim Heavenor has been Executive Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer since December 2014, prior to which he was Senior Vice-President, Development and Strategic Investing and President of Graham subsidiary, Gracorp Capital Advisors Ltd. Tim brings nearly 30 years of experience in major project development, team building, strategic planning, private equity, business development and corporate finance. Tim is also a founding Director of the Connor Clark & Lunn GVest Traditional Infrastructure LP and the GVest Private Equity LP. Gracorp-managed funds have attracted investment commitments from over 300 employees of Graham as well as Canadian institutional asset management firms. Previously, Tim was one of three executives that led Manvest Inc., a private investment company, to top-quartile returns over a 10-year period. In that capacity, Tim served on numerous private company boards, including roles as chair, and on audit and compensation committees. Tim also has investment and commercial banking experience.

As Chief Legal & Risk Officer, Tony’s responsibilities involve managing a range of services including risk management, legal, communications, supply chain management, ethics and compliance, and corporate secretarial. Tony is chair of Graham’s Enterprise Risk Management Committee and Secretary to Graham’s Board of Trustees. Tony joined Graham in 2008 serving initially as Graham’s General Counsel. Prior to this, Tony served as counsel to an international engineering, project management and construction firm. Tony holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Calgary and Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Alberta.
