Scope Of Work

PCL’s construction of the new CitiTower Luxury Apartment building in downtown Orlando brings a new sight to the Orlando skyline. At two hundred and ninety-three feet, CitiTower is the tenth-tallest building in Orlando, soaring twenty-five stories above the city. With the city of Orlando being one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the United States, CitiTower’s two hundred and thirty-three units provide luxury living space to hundreds of Orlando locals. Residents of the studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments are treated to sweeping views of Lake Eola and the vibrant, surrounding Thornton Park neighborhood. The building’s upscale amenities include a rooftop pool and outdoor lounge area, as well as a fully equipped fitness center open around the clock.

CitiTower’s twenty-five slab decks proved a perfect opportunity for PCL to bring cost and schedule benefits to the owner while self-performing 21,000 cubic yards of concrete. PCL’s engineers used a Robotic Total Station as a layout tool to quickly verify the alignment of concrete forms before pouring slabs.
