Scope Of Work
Biova is a privately held, globally distributed bio-scientific firm in Ames, IA that has developed a patented process of naturally separating the egg membrane from the chicken egg. The water-soluble egg membrane is high in collagen and glucosamine. Biova processes this membrane into nutritional supplement ingredients that are used for skin health and joint pain.
Biova occupies 6,200 square feet in the Iowa State Research park in Ames, IA and Henning Companies provided Design-Build services to build out their offices and production area including installation of equipment and process piping. The office is 1,200 square feet and includes a research and development lab. The 5,000 square foot production area processes the liquid egg membrane by separating out the two main ingredients and then drying them for packaging and distribution.
