Scope Of Work
The Playland Ice Casino was built in 1929. Located in Rye, NY it originally contained the main ice rink and a full dance floor on the second level that operated during the 1940s and 1950s along with a high-class full-service restaurant and outdoor café. The Playland Ice Casino was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1987, and until 2002, was home of the New York Rangers.
Project details: Garland Standing Seam Metalwork was roll-formed and curved on-site and installed to ANSPRI wind uplift standards. We also corrected deck deflection & Structural stitching of the Lamella truss along with repainting.
