       Lehmann Pools is a third generation family owned  and operated company that specializes in building the ultimate swimming pool and providing class leading quality service and maintenance for our customers. Lehmann Pools started as V. Lehmann Construction. Co. Inc., We are still under the incorporation of V. Lehmann Construction. Co. Inc. and doing business as Lehmann Pools and Spas.  The business was established in 1918 by Victor L. Lehmann and was incorporated in 1948. The primary work for the company during that era was commercial construction. Some of the work completed during that time includes the original addition on the George Washington School on Fardale Ave in Mahwah and the Church of the Good Sheppard in Midland Park, NJ.
     

     Victor S. Lehmann Joined his father in the construction business after serving in World War II. Although the company remained in the commercial construction market, they also added residential construction to the company. Victor S. Lehmann built his first swimming pool in 1955. By 1962, all construction was devoted to swimming pools. At the time, Lehmann Pools built form poured concrete pools and vinyl liner pools.
     

     Victor A. Lehmann joined the business in 1980 and spent the next ten years under the tutelage of his father learning everything needed to know about building swimming pools. Victor A. has been running the business since 1990. Victor A. brought gunite pool construction into Lehmann Pools. In the mid 80's. Victor A. has dedicated his swimming pool career to creating unique and beautiful projects for discerning customers.   

    The story behind our first swimming pool: We were contracted to provide an excavation and when we showed up and inquired as to what the customers were planning on building, they answered that they didn't have any plans, but wanted to build a swimming pool. They figured that digging a hole was the first step. We helped them build their pool and Victor S. thought it was an interesting idea so he did his research and found out that there was a pool convention that winter in NYC. He attended the convention and learned where to buy pumps, filters, etc. and he started to offer Swimming Pool Construction.
