Superior Laboratory Services, Inc. (SLSI) has been around since 1996 in theory and began in 1997 under the name Superior Filtration. Shortly after opening our doors, our customers began requesting more services than just filtration and hood certification. Since Rick Meyer had done all types of lab installations from cabinets to tops to hoods to ducts, it was an easy transistion to the customer requests. When beginning all of these additional services, Mr. Meyer decided to change the company name to better reflect all our services, hence the name change.

Superior was chosen to reflect the type of service we expect to give and you as customers expect and deserve to receive.

Laboratory is our all encompassing term used to describe biological, pharmaceutical, chemical, refinery, clean rooms, controlled environments, research, quality and other facilities that perform critical testing and protective services.

Services is an all inclusive term that is ever changing with our company. We are limited only to the needs and visions of our customers.

What began as a husband and wife team 14 years ago, now has over 20 employees, 6000 square feet of office space, and entails design, construction, remodeling, renovation, certification, repairs, maintenance, and a support staff with knowledge second to none.

Finally, we provide a variety of highly specialized consulting services that include BSL-3 facility testing procedures and reviews, vivarium, CGMP pharmaceutical, USP-797, anthrax and mustard gas testing facilities, and more. Specialty exhaust system design and testing is our best attribute.
