Cord’s team had the distinct honor of being selected to build the first Melissa Shoe Store in the United States at 102 Greene Street in SOHO. The project was uniquely designed so that store patrons would feel like as if they were shopping for footwear in an art gallery. To achieve the architect’s vision, Cord constructed numerous angled walls with reveals that seamlessly aligned with the floor and ceiling reveals. As a result of its distinct experience in complex and specialized construction techniques, Cord achieved the architect’s vision to the satisfaction of the contractor, architect and owner.
