Scope Of Work
The Majestic Bethlehem Center Industrial Park recently added an expansive 500,000 sf warehouse. The warehouse is located on a 441 acre site that was formally Bethlehem Steel. The Industrial Park has been under development for the past decade and upon completion will contain over 8 million sf of industrial warehouse manufacturing and distribution buildings. The new building will add to the already constructed and occupied Crayola, Walmart, and California Cartage Company.
EEI performed Inspection Services consisting of compaction testing, concrete, structural steel, etc. Structural fills on the order of 20 feet are required to achieve the proposed site grades for this new structure. The subsurface conditions consist of numerous slag materials from the Bethlehem Steel era.
