Scope Of Work
Norfolk Southern is currently expanding it's Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Rutherford Intermodal Yard to meet the growing demand for intermodal freight transportation in the Capitol region. The 60.5 million dollar project includes new track construction, multiple retaining walls and various utility installations. EEI was contracted by The H&K Group to provide construction inspection services for a cast-in-place retaining wall approximately 415 feet long and 15 feet high. EEI provided foundation inspection and ACI certified inspectors to provide concrete testing during the construction of the wall.
